Supplements

Supplements – I always go through phases with supplements, but recently I’ve been ignoring them and focusing on eating more food.  Supplements are very expensive and for the most part I feel they are useless and uneeded.  That being said I always use a few.

  • Sources
  • Multivitamin – Preferably time released
  • Fish oil – 5 a day or 1.5g of EPA/DHA
  • Creatine Monohydrate – 5 grams a day
  • Vitamin D – 2000-4000IU a day (needed from sunlight for happiness and better mood)
  • Magnesium – 400-800 mg a day (involved in over 400 metabolic reactions in body, digestion, and blood flow)
  • Protein powder (Elite XT fudge brownie and vanilla)
  • Quest bars (Dear God these are good)
