I’m going to start adding this circuit to every “rest day”, between heavy lifting days. As it gets easier I will increase the volume.
I decided to start Leangains yesterday. Basically its a carb cycling diet, but one of the main appeals is the creator of the program greatly resembled my background: a former fat boy. To me it makes sense that eating a fashion similar to this would produce similar results for myself.
I am making a few modifications, such as not fasting for 16 hours, but rather fasting for 12 hours instead. The main thing I am adopting from the program is a massive carb refeed (300 grams and over) after my lifting session on workout days, which for me will be 3 days a week. On the other days of the week (4 rest days) I will eat a lower calorie/carb diet around 1600 calories and about 100 grams of carbs to burn fat. Except for Saturday, which will be me of a maintenance level of intake.
Really looking forward to trying this out. In the future, I will outline the program in a little more detail.
I also got my first pair of prescription sunglasses yesterday; which are possibly one of the best things ever created. The lenses are also polarized so no glare, when the sun is blinding me in the morning. 😉
