Pumpkin Pie Protein Shake

Had a high carb day between Friday night and Saturday night.  Hit over 300 carbs which included this shake, two bananas, 2 cups of white rice, a large sweet potato and a Calzone.

My weight went from 165 to 172 lbs in a day.  I plan to start eating a ton of red meat and whole eggs during the week and repeat this high carb day next week.

The only real source of carbs I’m going to be using is a banana during my workout.  The rest will be from protein and fat to keep calories high.  I’m counting on the extra dietary fat to really boost hormone levels and muscle without fat gain.

Main reason I’m keeping carbs low is to avoid the fat I eat from being stored and the last time I tried to bulk with carbs and low fats I had some crazy energy waves that I dont feel like dealing with.
