Journal

Wrote a post on insulin sensitivity and the glycemic index today.  Both posts are very important issues for a lot of people, but there is also a lot of misinformation about each.  Posted them in the Nutrition article section.

Workout was good for the most part, but I couldn’t get up the 90lb DB today, which was a major let down.  I had 4 workouts in a row of beating my personal best and couldn’t even push them up once today.  It may have been due to working shoulders the day before, but not sure.  Overall the workout went well though and just made due by lifting a little lighter for more reps.

Nutrition is posted above.  Sweet potato was ON POINT today :).  Seriously one of the best potatoes I have ever eaten.  Put some Splenda, cinnamon and sugar-free syrup on there, Dear God it was awesome.  Took in around 100 carbs after my workout and will probably end around 2400 calories today.

Hopefully I can get those 90’s back up next workout.  I did that low calorie day on Sunday and I wonder if that affected my workout today.  Going to aim to eat more on the other days to make sure that wasn’t the reason.  My goal is to build muscle and I don’t want days like that too ruin my workouts.
